Volume One Magazine

Volume One magazine is a fast-growing culture and entertainment publication in Wisconsin's Chippewa Valley (Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Menomonie).

Volume One made the leap to a full-fledged online community resource in the Fall of 2008. They needed a website that could publish all of the content they currently produce for their magazine (articles, events, listings), as well as the new multimedia content (video, photos, audio) they were planning to offer.

YayBoo.com enables people to create vote-able "best-of" lists. Anyone can add to the list, and the order is determined by voting "Yay" or "Boo" for each item.

People can follow what other "YayBooers" are doing on the site by adding them to their Buddy List. Buddies can be added to Groups and can send messages to each other via the YayBoo.com.

YayBoo also supplies a widget for each list that allows people to embed the list on another website (like a blog). People can vote and view results directly from the other website.
